Finally, Tyler has moved to his parents room. He had been sleeping in the living room in his basket because of his light source. Today, Kati decided to make the big move. We located a heavy duty extension cord so now he can move between the two rooms. We know that his bilirubin level will go down to normal levels but it could take a long time.
My belief is that God created our bodies to function perfectly. So why should breast milk jaundice be such a big issue. I am sure that the doctors are being overly cautious. The suggestions of stopping breast feeding for two days and giving Tyler formula are falling on deaf ears. He is thriving, weighs 7 pounds 10 ounces, sleeps well, interacts with us, pees and poops like a pro. So why mess with what is working.
